Adopt-a-Garden Bed Summer Program

Bring our school grounds to life this summer...one garden bed at a time!

We are excited to introduce our Adopt-a-Garden Bed Summer Program, a fun and meaningful way for families, friends, and community groups to stay connected to school while making a visible impact. Whether you're a Dundee family, scout troop, sports team, or club, you’re invited to adopt a small garden bed on school grounds for the months of June and July.

Participation is simple and flexible. Just two visits per month (four total for the summer) to help weed and care for your space. Want to take it a step further? You’re welcome to plant flowers in your garden bed using approved plants, and the PTO can help cover costs through our grounds budget.

We’ll provide shared gardening tools if needed, and each garden bed will feature a sign recognizing your family or group, so you can proudly show off your contribution all summer long!

Spots are limited, so if you’re interested in adopting a garden bed, please sign up below and Althea McMickell will reach out to you to assign your garden bed.

Let’s grow something great together this summer! 🌱
